The Evolution of a Neo-Soul Superstar

Olivia Dean’s rise to royalty is a testament to her undeniable authenticity. Rejecting heavily synthesized pop in favor of live instrumentation, her music feels both refreshingly modern and timelessly classic. Her official physical releases capture the raw, vibrant energy of an artist who is just as comfortable delivering a tear-jerking acoustic ballad as she is fronting a massive, funk-driven brass section.

Whether you are completing your collection with her breakthrough debut or securing a pressing of her record-shattering sophomore era, our Universal Music storefront features the essential milestones of her rapidly expanding discography:

  • Messy (2023): The Mercury Prize-nominated breakthrough debut. A beautifully imperfect, deeply personal album that established her as a major force in UK music. Blending smoldering neo-soul and indie-pop, this record features enduring favorites like "Dive," "Danger," and "The Hardest Part."

  • Live at the Jazz Café & Eventim Apollo: Experience the magic of her legendary live performances. From her intimate 2021 Jazz Café sets (highly prized as Record Store Day exclusives) to her massive 2024 Eventim Apollo shows, these live vinyl pressings capture the incredible, unedited power of her vocals.

  • The Art of Loving (2025): The multi-platinum, Grammy and BRIT Award-winning masterpiece. Debuting at Number 1 and securing her status as a global pop and R&B titan, this sprawling, retro-soul triumph delivered massive, chart-topping anthems like the Fleetwood Mac-esque "Nice to Each Other," the funky gospel-infused "Man I Need," and the gorgeous "Lady Lady."

Why Collect Olivia Dean on Vinyl?

Olivia Dean’s music is inherently tactile and organic. Her studio sessions heavily rely on warm acoustic strumming, vintage Rhodes pianos, rich horn sections, and live drum kits. Digital compression often flattens the natural room acoustics and the delicate, breathy nuances of her vocal delivery.

On vinyl, her pristine production is given a wide, dynamic soundstage. The analog warmth rounds out the deep basslines, perfectly capturing the vintage, 1970s soul aesthetic that heavily influences her sound, providing an incredibly intimate, "in-the-room" listening experience.

Furthermore, Olivia Dean’s physical releases are meticulously crafted for collectors. Our official store offers premium 180g heavyweight vinyl, alongside highly sought-after exclusive colored wax variants that perfectly match the vibrant, cinematic visual aesthetic of her album eras.
