His recordings connect rap with alternative, jazz and soul influences, making collaboration a way of expanding the emotional and musical vocabulary.

Indigo presents RM’s solo work through a broad collaborative palette, while Right Place, Wrong Person moves into a more unsettled and exploratory musical setting. The contrast is part of the attraction for listeners following his identity beyond BTS. His measured delivery and reflective writing connect the projects, allowing changes of arrangement and production to become different ways of approaching questions about selfhood, public image and belonging.

Catalogue highlights

Indigo and Right Place, Wrong Person offer distinct album worlds, rewarding listeners interested in his development beyond the group catalogue.

The choice of collaborators and instrumental textures gives each solo project a different point of view, extending a lyrical identity without making every album sound alike.

Indigo: Explore the CD and vinyl presentation of this recording, keeping the programme and its physical presentation together.

Right Place, Wrong Person: Explore the vinyl and CD presentation of this recording, keeping the programme and its physical presentation together.

Why collect RM?

The full programme gives the writing a wider setting, connecting changes of delivery, beat and perspective rather than separating a memorable verse from the musical world built around it. Vinyl gives the sleeve artwork and playing sequence a tangible place in a music collection. CD editions provide another physical way to keep the programme and its accompanying presentation together. The particular pressing or package defines the edition, so explore the individual release for its track list and stated presentation.

Explore RM at UMusic Shop South Africa and choose a physical release to make part of your own music collection.

Known as the leader of global K-Pop group BTS, RM releases his 2nd Solo Album titled 'Right Place, Wrong Person' which is available in 3 versions: Ver.
